Coaching Career
Between 2015 and 2021 coached and mentioned over 50 successful English Channel solo swimmers from around the world. Many who went on to complete 'Oceans 7' and 'Triple Crowns'.
Business Career
Founded Grimsey's Aquatics in 2019, managing aquatic facilities in North Queensland. Managing eight facilities and employing over 70 staff.

One on One Coaching
Using our stepping stone approach, our programs are process driven with measurable results. Easy to follow and understand.
Requirements:
- Time frame required before crossing/event is a minimum of 12 months.
- Must be 100% committed
Includes:
- Detailed training program (easy to follow and understand)
- Each individual swim session (consisting of warm up, main set and swim down)
- Specific drills to improve stroke efficiency
- Stepping stone approach
- Measurable results to track progress

- Weekly phone/skype calls

- Advice on adapting to different conditions and scenarios

Swim Camps
Located in Woolgoolga (recently awarded the best beach on mainland Australia in 2025). Situated halfway between Brisbane and Sydney. These camps are specifically designed for anyone wanting to take part in an open water swimming marathon. We'll be conducting several camps each year.
Requirements:
- Must have completed the appropriate training to undertake such camp
Includes:
- Water safety
- Four day camp
- Exposure to night swimming
- Exposure to swimming next to a boat
- Exposure to swimming in different conditions
- Different swim courses
- Qualifying swim
- Nutritional advice
- Swim advice and recommendations
Investment:
$1,000 AUD per swimmer

Qualifying Swims
It's a prerequisite for many marathon swims to have completed an offical qualifying swim before the event. These are either a set distance or set number of hours. We can supervise and facilitate your qualifying swim.
Requirements:
- Must have completed the appropriate training to undertake such swim.
Includes:
- Water safety
- Swim course
- Swim certification
- Post swim advice and recommendations
